The Center for a Regenerative promotes social 和 ecological justice by empowering the 新MG线上电子游戏 community to engage in critical, 有创意的, 和系统思考, 和 by serving as a hub for developing student, 工作人员, 和 faculty ecological justice scholars who are dedicated to creating a just, 快乐的, 和可再生的未来. The Center provides leadership 和 coordinates units across campus in the intentional design of a just 和可再生的未来 for DU 和 the community; interfaces between curriculum 和 institutional, community 和 regional sustainability practices; engages 学生 to build community 和 learn through authentic, 具体问题具体分析, interdisciplinary practice 和 research; provides resources for faculty 和 工作人员, 学生, student organizations  和 living 和 learning communities; 和 facilitates social-ecological justice education across campus. The Center services the whole campus community, with increasing focus on serving our neighbors 和 local community.

再生实习 & 奖学金

每年, the Center for a Regenerative Future brings on around 20 undergraduate interns 和 as many as 10 graduate fellows for a multi-year program that helps bridge the gap between classroom study 和 tangible experience in the field of regenerative futures, as well as centers wellbeing 和 community-building efforts. 学生 learn the basics of co-creating a regenerative future by working alongside peers 和 mentors to tackle ecological justice challenges 和 issues on campus 和 in the broader community.

This internship 和 fellowship experience is supported by a year-long curriculum, 参与车间, 和 active dialogue 和 discussion. These experiences also provide professional 和 resilience 技能 necessary to navigate Global 环境al Change 和 the global polycrisis. During their internships 和 fellowships, 学生 take engage in opportunities with the broader DU community, 完成有意义的项目, 和 build relationships with diverse peers 和 mentors with whom they can develop their abilities, 技能, 和知识. It is a one-of-a-kind program that offers a transformative learning experience, helping create passionate 和 resilient professionals who emerge ready to take on the challenges of a changing world.
